Flowers

A vase of flowers provides natural inspiration for colourful works and the study of shape and form. These pieces are works on tea bags, exploring different techniques; Batik, Frottage, Wax Resist, drawing and embroidery. The focus is more about the effect that is achieved by each process; the riotous colour, movement and texture, rather than trying to create a photographic likeness of the flowers.
